the fast growing niche for In Mould Labelled products is forecast in the medium
term to be centred around the food industry. Thus the cleanliness of an all-electric
press was considered crucial here.
The other reason for an all-electric press for IML appplications is due to clamp
accuracy. The repeatable resolution to within 0.01mm means that even at the high
speed of production, the placement of the label on the cavity or core is absolutely
guaranteed; given the ablity of the machine to guarantee
the moulds' position.
