Protomould offer full product design and development services. We can assist in both initial design work as well as concept refinement. Unlike conventional design houses our service is derived from manufacturing best practice rather than blue-sky thinking our designs satisfy the requirements of our customers intent whilst conforming to the practicalities of manufacturability!

Functional Prototype Service

One of the main drawbacks of rapid prototypes

is that they rarely reflect the actual performance of real products. Unlike SLS/SLA prototypes our service uses machined cast plastics (offering about 80% of the properties of a moulded component) and in the case of resin and aluminium tooling the actual polymer intended for the final product.

We are able to offer machined prototypes in 7-10 days and injection moulded parts from resin tooling in 14-21 days.
